Reinforcement Mesh
Brick Reinforcement Mesh is embedded in mortar (cement) joints to give extra tensile strength to wall and help withstand vibration and sudden loading, or to minimize unsightly cracks due to settlement.
Installation:
- Position the mesh flat within the brick bed joints.
- Overlap by a minimum of 75mm if joining two lengths together. The mesh should be laid every third brickwork course for most reinforcement.
