Premixed cement-based render for external ALC walls.

E.MIX ALC RENDER is a high quality cement-based render specially developed for the application on external ALC wall surfaces. E.MIX ALC RENDER can also be used for patching works on ALC walls prior to rendering. It is intended to replace conventional cement-sand render. Rendered surface can be sponge-finished. Various finishes can be applied on the rendered wall.

Procedures

Substrate Preparations

• Remove loose particles, grease and traces of foreign material which may effect adhesion prior to rendering. On a dry absorbent surface, the surface is moistened if necessary. On concrete surface, it is recommended that a spatterdash coat be applied to the receiving substrate to provide better key for render layer.

Mixing and Installation

• Add E.MIX ALC RENDER to the correct quantity of clean water and start mixing.
• A suitable mixing time is 3 – 7minutes depending on the type of mixing equipment. Use the mixture within 1 hour of mixing.
• Application can be done by hand or machine. Final surface can either be smoothened or sponge-finished. In hot dry conditions, the render should be cured with water spray during the first 2 days.

Storage and Packing

E.MIX ALC RENDER is delivered in 40 kg bag.

Storage life is 6 months if the product is stored in a dry place.
